Here is Savannah outside her room
at school. She is excited and nervous.
This is the 2nd or 3rd day of school.
I wanted to get a picture of her with
her backpack, you can tell she is
feeling a bit more confident about this
school thing.

Savannah (4/09 - 4 yrs. old) - we're driving in the car and Landon is talking in his "Landonese" language. Often we can understand him but this time I couldn't. Savannah got all excited and said, "Mom, Landon just said a new word". I said, "really, what did he say"...she repeated what he said and I said, "what does that mean?", she made something up and then said, "it's in Spanish".
Savannah (4/09 - 4 yrs. old) - On what to get her Daddy for his 40th birthday. "We should get him some hankies, a wallet and some vegetables, like broccoli, green beans, carrots, watermelon (and listed much more), so he can cook something".
Caleb (4/09 -9 yrs. old) - On what to get his Dad for his 40th birthday. "Uhhh....I don't know....how about clothes....that's what you always get him".

Her response, "I don't want Santa to take them tonight when he comes to our house." I had to explain that Santa doesn't take presents, he only leaves presents.
Savannah (3 yrs. old) referring to a song on the radio "Mom, are they speaking English?"..."What are they saying?"..."Are you sure that isn't Spanish?".
