Teagan's Baptism!

Oh, it's been months since I last posted. Life has got really, really busy and I don't spend much time on my blog or FB anymore. I suppose that is a good thing...so this is better late then never. Teagan was baptised in May after his 8th birthday. We are so happy he made the decision to be baptized. He was so excited and was a beautiful day!
Teagan was baptized on the same day as two of his good friends, Jack and Garrin. It was extra fun for him to see his friends get baptized too!
A lot of our family was able to make it, Tom and Sharon, Steve, Dallin and Easton, Travis, Jaymie, Emerson and Porter, Todd and Nyssa and Nyssa's Mom. Jeff, Julie, Jacob and Joselyn. Also our good friends, Todd, Tammy, Tyler and Tanner B., Teagan's CTR 7 teachers Bro. and Sister Crum. and our hometeacher, Bro. Priday.
Teagan and Grandma and Grandpa Frost. Thanks to everyone for helping us celebrate Teagan's special day!

Christmas Bells are Ringing!!

I love this time year, even with all the craziness of it all, it's so fun to spend time with family. It's great to talk about the true meaning of Christmas with my own kids and hope that they actually see beyond the presents and think about what is most important in this world...Family and Friends!

I love taking pictures to mark a moment in time, a moment to remember because it goes by so fast. It seems like yesterday when I was a kid spending time with my family at home and my grandparents and now, I'm the Mom, it's almost unreal. I love my kids, I love my husband, I love all of my family and friends and the support they are in my life. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and having full knowledge of the gospel and why we are here on this earth. I love the principles the Church teaches and the opportunity I have to try to be a better person every day, that even on days that I screw things up, that I'm not a great Mom, wife, sister or friend that I can be forgiven and realize that tomorrow is another day to work on being the best I can be. I love the examples I have around me. My friends who are so willing to help me out and serve me in so many ways, my parents and in-laws who love me even when I'm crabby and they are always willing to help me out. And the time they spend with my kids. What an opportunity that my kids have to get to know both sets of grandparents, we are truely blessed to live by both of them. I'm thankful for my husband who is always so good to me, again, even when I'm crabby and impatient, who is a great example to his kids and always there for me and my best friend. So, with that being said, thank you to all of you for being part of my life. I love you.

HaPpY 5th BiRtHdAy SaVaNnAh!!!!

Savannah had a wonderful birthday last week.
Mom brought cupcakes to class. The class sang
to her and she got to wear an "It's my Birthday"
vest and hat. Then we celebrated at home with
the family. I can't believe how fast time flies.

The Friday after her birthday we had a Princess
Party for her. These are some of her friends
from church and school. The girls were so cute
and had a blast. The got to go on a treasure hunt
for jewelry and pin the kiss on the frog, but their
favorite was the freeze dance to the song "It's Magic".
It was a moment to treasure in time when they all
sang and danced to the song. The loved it!

This was Savannah's favorite present
from Mom and Dad. She road it around
the house until she had to go to bed.

Here is the 5 yr. old at Newport Coast

First Day of School

Here is Savannah outside her room
at school. She is excited and nervous.

This is the 2nd or 3rd day of school.
I wanted to get a picture of her with
her backpack, you can tell she is
feeling a bit more confident about this
school thing.

First Day of School

Beginning of Aug. and we are started school.
"Goodbye" hot summer days, "hello" Fall. Oh,
who am I kidding, we have a least another month
and a half of more "HOT SUMMER DAYS"!

Savannah started Kindergarten and
was very excited to take the bus and
go to big kid school with her brothers.

Teagan the "toothless wonder" is
excited about going back to see his
friends and hopefully lose that other
tooth.

Caleb is excited to get some structure
back into his life...oh wait a minute, that
is what Mom is excited about.

I love my kids but I love them having a
structured environment and learning at school.
I miss them but I know it's good for them and
good for me.

Summertime Fun Part 3

After a great time in San Fran. We headed
towards Lake Tahoe for our Anderson/Bell
Family Reunion. Typically we take the kids
up snow skiing so this was going to be a
different experience to see Tahoe in the
summer. We took a great hike up by Emerald
Bay. Caleb and I had a great time with all the
cousins.
This is my cousin Bo and Karin. My two
closest and dearest cousins. It was so good
to see them and spend time visiting.
This is shortly before we took the Heavenly
Gondola ride. The workers found this racoon
stuck in a trash can and rescued it. The kids
loved it.

Summertime Fun Part 2

After a few days in Valencia we headed up North.
We stopped to visit some friends in San Francisco
and took in some of the typically tourist attractions.
This the family on a trolly ride...it was fun, especially
when we decided to walk back (up the hills) because
we didnt' want to stand in the long line to get back
on the trolly.

The kids loved the Golden Gate Bridge. We
had a great time taking lots of pictures.

This is one of my favorites. Caleb (9),
Teagan (7), Savannah (4).

Summertime in California Part 1

Each summer we take the kids to California
for a couple of weeks and stay at my
parents condo. Savannah and Teagan
decided to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful
weather. The are looking out at the Valley down
below and can see as far as the Magic Mtn. tower
and the grapevine.

Nothing better then enjoying a popsicle on a
beautiful summer day!
